The President of the Assembly Daci welcomed the admiral of the NATO, Harry Ulrich

The President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Nexhat Daci welcomed today the Commander of the NATO for Southeastern Europe in Napoli, the admiral Harry Ulrich who was accompanied by the Commander of KFOR, the general Ives de Kermabo. In this meeting, which comes a week after the admiral Ulrich was assigned to a new duty, was discussed about developments in Kosovo and region as well as for presence of NATO in Kosovo. In this occasion the President of the Assembly of Kosovo thanked the Commander of KFOR, the general De Kermabo regarding his work and he has considered KFOR as one of most authoritative and trustful institution in Kosovo. Daci requested from NATO to continue its mission in Kosovo, because as the Head of the legislature of Kosovo was emphasized, NATO has a very good vision for the region and Kosovo. In this occasion he requested more support for KPC and especially on technology and education of cadets at the military academies in NATO™s countries, as well as the KPC engagement on military and humanitarian missions of NATO.

The admiral, Harry Ulrich emphasized the dedication of NATO to continue his successful mission in Kosovo and to ensure the peace in the region. He said that he™s very satisfied with the work of KFOR and his first impressions are very positive regarding Kosovo™s achievements.

In this very friendly and informative meeting regarding the accomplished successes of the international mechanisms and democratic institutions of the country was also discussed about the preoccupations and possible failure of the institutions of Kosovo if they can not real view perspectives for better and safe life for citizens of Kosovo.

For this reason the President of the Assembly, Daci asked that Kosovo should still have approach to international financial funds. He also said that even before the resolution of the status of the country, Kosovo should be part of European and euro-western integration.
