The President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Nexhat Daci, today welcomed a delegation of the League of Municipal Associations of Pensioners, chaired by Iljaz Kurteshi, president, and has discussed with him regarding the irregularity status of pensioners and the very difficult position of pensioners in Kosovo.
Accumulated dissatisfactions of pensioners
Mr. Kurteshi has informed the President of the Assembly, Daci regarding the problems in LMAP and accumulated dissatisfactions at pensioners of Kosovo due to no adequate treatment of their previous work and as a result of their very difficult position and totally non high-toned.
The request of pensioners will be discussed
The President of the Assembly Daci informed the representative of the pensioners that their request addressed to the Assembly of Kosovo will be discussed in the Presidency of the Assembly and also will be debated in plenary session.
Pension “ social assistance that doesn™t provide the minimum of living
He was emphasized that he understands the very difficult position of pensioners; and that their previous work should be estimated and the pension that they get indeed is a social assistance that doesn™t provide the minimum of living.
The Head of legislature of the country expressed his dissatisfaction regarding budget hopelessness of Kosovo to reward pensioners, but he guaranteed them that he is going to use all his authority to help on solving this problem.
