Kai Aide meets Serb deputies of SLKM and other deputies of other communities

The Special Representatives of Secretary General of the UN, Norwegian ambassador, Kai Aide, today had special meetings with Serb deputies of SLKM and with deputies of other communities (non-Serbian and non-Albanian) and got some of their opinions regarding developments in Kosovo and the level of the fulfillment of standards, especially about the freedom of movement and the realization of the rights. 

Serbs dissatisfied with standards

After the meeting, the deputy Rangjel Nojkiq, declared to the journalists that deputies of the SLKM informed Mr. Aide regarding the numerous problems of Serbs in Kosovo. And that they have requested from the Special Representatives of Secretary General of the UN to be objective in his report for estimation of standards and to take in account as well as the need for control upon institutions of Kosovo.

Njokiq said that in the meeting they™ve presented some numerous facts regarding the violation of documentations approved by the Assembly of Kosovo and for non freedom of movement of the Serb citizens in Kosovo.

The deputy Oliver Ivanoviq, meanwhile has declared that the fulfillment of standards is the essential condition for Serbian survival in Kosovo and has expressed the hope that the report of the UN diplomat to be objective.

Other communities are integrating

The deputies of other communities (non-Serbian and non-Albanian), in a meeting with Mr. Kai Aide have emphasized the will of communities that apply to integration in Kosovo™s society, but they also mentioned a variety problems that they deal with, has declared the member of the Presidency of Kosovo, Xhezair Murat to the Office for Media relations.   

In the meeting was emphasized the fact that all the attention of international factor is concentrated on Serbians and it seems like other communities (non-Serbian and non-Albanian) are left aside. 

The Special Representatives of Secretary General of the UN, Norwegian ambassador, Kai Aide emphasized that he was pleased with the will of these ethnic communities to integrate in Kosovo™s society, to participate in institutions and cooperate with the majority of population.

He also promised that he will visit locations where minorities are living so he can be convinced with their achievements.
