The perspective of economic development, especially in the scope of electricity, opening the big projects, relatively of big investments in Kosovo after the resolution of the status, on the sphere of water storages, on building highways and increasing of new electricity capacities were the main topics of the today™s meeting of the President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Prof. Nexhat Daci with the Head of USAID in Kosovo, Mr. Ken Yamashita.
It™s a pleasure when you discuss with a leader of an institution also political for the issue of economic development, emphasized the President of Assembly Daci. In this spirit meantime he showed the respect for high professionalism of the director of USAID. He went on stating that he also has requested support from this institution and from NDA regarding consulting and implementing laws and also on supervising the new system of security that we are establishing, of ministries, to be successful, meaning that the Parliament not only to bring laws but to control the Government as well. In these processes USAID is our partner, said the President of the Assembly Daci.
The head of USAID in Kosovo, Ken Yamashita said that on this occasion we offered to the Assembly of Kosovo our support in all aspects. The Parliament of Kosovo has lots of capacities which should be used in the scope of legislation. Also he promised that he would extensively support in reestablishing the laws. Since winter is almost here, said Yamashita we will be focused on the issue of electricity, in order that during this season to have a stable supply with electricity
