The president of the Assembly academic Nexhat Daci, welcomed today a delegation of experts from TAIEX (Technical Assistance and General Directorate for Extension), that acts in the frame of EU in the scope of food assistance and veterinary medicine lead by Peter Van Honwelingen, accompanied by Tomë Hajdaraj “ vice minister of the Ministry on Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development. This delegation informed the President of the Assembly Daci that they are analyzing the system of the veterinary medicine in Kosovo, and based on that they will make a report. Also was mentioned that this agency has established a very good cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and other subjects of the scope of agriculture and veterinary medicine.
Thanking for the work and establishment of this fruitful cooperation, the President of the Assembly Daci said that the delegation would have the chance to get familiar with lots of agriculture resources in Kosovo, and the aim of institutions of Kosovo is the investment stimulation in this very important field. In all this plans of yours, you will have the support of the Assembly of Kosovo, especially in drafting and adopting of laws from this field, in order that investments to be supported in laws. It is necessary to provide good labs and to involve the youth as well in your activities, in order to have groups of experts that will deal in a fundamentally professionally scientific way in this activity.
The vice minister of the Ministry on Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Tomë Hajdaraj on this occasion spoke about some attainments in exporting the milk from Kosovo in Macedonia and Albania and vegetables in Switzerland, mentioning as well the Germany™s interest on Kosovo™s vegetables.
